Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS)

Say “Hello” to Fuuz® iPaaS. Integrate and Connect Practically Anything with Everything Else.

We live in a connected world. We rely on the internet for everything from smartphone apps and streaming channels and cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. But industries with complex operational processes, like manufacturing, are disadvantaged. Here’s why.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution system (MES) software emerged in the late 1980s and 1990s. In the early 2000s, when cloud SaaS came on the scene, software companies, in many instances, simply migrated the underlying on-premise infrastructure of their solution to the cloud.

There were cloud software evolutions, painful, time-consuming software updates, and additional layers of complexity with point solutions and middleware to bridge the gap between what enterprise software could do and what users needed to do. Then, in 2018, Fuuz came to market, and the revolution started.

6 Benefits of Fuuz iPaaS

The Solution to Enterprise Software Complexity is iPaaS

Fuuz is the first iPaaS solution that can connect practically anything: business workflows and manufacturing processes, machines and equipment, and people inside and outside your organization. And yes, there’s more. Fuuz gives its users unprecedented access to data from any source that lives on the platform.

The Value of the Fuuz 20% Solution

For an in-depth look at the Fuuz Platform’s system architecture, read the white paper by Fuuz founder Craig Scott.

With over 20 years of experience leading ERP and MES implementations, Fuuz Founder Craig Scott describes the profound value of Fuuz as the 20% solution.

In his considerable experience, ERP and MES software provide customers with about 80% of what they need to succeed.

Fuuz delivers the final 20% solution, closing the gap between what enterprise software does and what its customers, especially those with complex operational processes, need to do. The 20% is essential because Fuuz captures plant floor data from multiple sources. Even better, the Fuuz Platform provides no-code, low-code tools to show and share the data in business intelligence (BI) dashboards. Then the data can inform decisions for a smarter, more profitable business.

Manufacturer Challenges with Cloud Software

Here’s what we hear from manufacturing businesses struggling with the software status quo:

Cannot integrate systems as effectively and efficiently as they need to.

Cannot eliminate or even minimize the duplication of data.

Cannot eliminate or even minimize the duplication of functions.

Cannot access timely reporting of analytics for business intelligence.

Cannot create time-saving apps using data from multiple systems.

Cannot get support from individual commercial app companies who only support extensions of their products.

Fuuz iPaaS Resolves Multi-Vendor Confusion

Fuuz eliminates the blame game between vendor solutions that aren’t designed to work together. If you have a problem, a Fuuz solution engineer will work with you to resolve it. No runaround. And no problem solving your problems – Fuuz is the solution to point solutions.

Fuuz is Unbiased. Here’s What it Means and Why it Matters.

Fuuz iPaaS is an unbiased, independent, third-party solution. It’s built to work with other systems, hardware, and services. And you can use it to connect the operating systems and industrial equipment you use with any software.

Here’s what we mean by unbiased. Unlike other software systems with point-to-point integrations that are very specific and purpose-built for a specific application, Fuuz is much more flexible.

Fuuz enhances the value of the software you already use. Here’s an example. If you want to get information into or out of your ERP, host it on the Fuuz Platform. You won’t need point solutions, middleware, or painful workarounds to integrate diverse systems and data sources.

Fuuz iPaaS Delivers a Unified Experience

iPaaS is a core component of the Fuuz Platform. It enables our users to connect systems, move data around as needed and keep everyone on the same page, delivering one source of truth for your organization.

How do we do that? It’s all about our pre-built Connectors. If you don’t see what you need, just ask. We probably already have it or can build it for you quickly. There’s nothing the Fuuz Platform can’t connect to.

Fuuz Integrations

Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) integration captures and manages high-frequency, high-volume data collection from your equipment and devices.

Fuuz IIoT integration supports production monitoring, process monitoring, and equipment monitoring. IIoT can be integrated with the Fuuz Platform’s Device Gateway tool to support additional functions like the automated printing of labels during production or document printing during shipping or picking.

Fuuz Electronic Data Interchange simplifies the complex process of communicating with your global trading partners. You can onboard new customers and their requirements quickly with Fuuz’ easy-to-use EDI integration capabilities. For example, you can set an EDI run schedule, create error alerts or trigger on-demand real-time transactions.

You can use Fuuz’s configurable interface for standard documents or send and receive documents with secure file transfer. Then, use the Fuuz Platform’s Data Flow Designer tool to create your self-service mapping.

Fuuz’s pre-built Software Connectors save users time and make it simple to push/pull data to an application, device, or system outside of Fuuz.

Pre-built connectors are available out of the box for all major software platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Acumatica, Quickbooks, Plex, JD Edwards, FedEx, UPS, QuickBooks, SalesForce, Magento, and Shopify, just to name a few.

If you don’t see the connector that you need, just ask. We may already have it, or we can build it quickly.

Fuuz connects with external sources like on-premise systems, too. Use the Fuuz Platform’s Device Gateway tool to allow incoming and outgoing data flows. The sources of data can be on-premise or in the cloud.

Install the Fuuz Device Gateway on-premise for unlimited access to all of your software, network folders, printers, and other assets that live behind your firewall.

You can also use the Device Gateway to connect industrial assets like printers, network drives, applications, or technologies behind your secure firewalls to the Fuuz Platform.

These connections are configured and connected directly to the Fuuz Gateway, providing a secure means for Fuuz to connect with assets and data sources inside your network without exposing your internal infrastructure to the internet.

Technology Connectors are similar to Fuuz’ Software Connectors. They are designed to simplify interactions with your external technology in the cloud or on-premise. Think of them as a utility, the small programs part of an operating system (OS) used to optimize and maintain computer performance.

Use Fuuz’ Technology Connectors for things like FTP, SQL, SMTP, disk/folder integrations, on-premise databases, Webhooks, Kepware, products like DropBox, PowerBI, Tableau, and even homegrown applications, including AS400/DB2 integrations.

With the Fuuz Device Gateway, you can integrate industrial machines such as presses, molding machines, extruders, computerized numerical control (CNCs), welders, robots, weigh scales, printers, RFID readers or portals, and even building access controls and time clocks.

Device setup and configuration are easy with Fuuz’ tree-driven approach that identifies the data points you want to capture inside each device you set up.

Device Connectors can be integrated with your business process flows using the Data Flow Designer platform tool. But Fuuz gives you more than basic read interactions. You can push recipes and red rabbits (an intentional error), training your systems to identify and prevent similar errors in the future.

The benefit of connected devices is that you can automate the printing of labels and documents without being tied to your computer.

Have an object that cannot connect to Fuuz directly? No problem. The Device Gateway does it all.
