Takeaways from Nulogy xChange
Given the current climate of supply chain disruption stemming from COVID-19 recovery, economic uncertainty and emerging regulations, Nulogy CEO Jason Tham described xChange best when he said, “There is no better way to stay informed on the latest market forecasts, analysis and expert opinions around industry trends, challenges and innovations.”
For three days, Craig and I tuned in to expert roundtables and keynote sessions along with presentations from major players like Microsoft, Supply Chain Insights, Overhaul and DHL. Conference workshops, meanwhile, highlighted innovative ideas for digital supply chains ecosystems that help partners and vendors:
- Reduce volatility and manage variability within consumer markets
- Measure environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics to assess sustainability performance
- Align data sharing across supply chain partners to build trust and ensure collaborative informed decisions from material sourcing to stocking shelves
The final day was devoted to the Nulogy staff sharing product roadmap demos and details. It was power-packed with product highlights and a panel discussion from the new winners of the North Star Awards. Full-day workshops showcased the latest Nulogy software developments, including the Supplier Collaboration, Connect and customer feedback solutions.
How Nulogy Partners Are Lighting Up the Supply Chain
Nulogy is leaning into partners such as MFGx and our Fuuz manufacturing solution to extend the use of its solution and unlock additional value for its customers. Craig had the opportunity to join a Lightning Round dedicated to this topic, and he shared the slide below to help illustrate how Fuuz extends Nulogy to deliver full shop floor visibility.
He also discussed how Fuuz integrates with ERPs, apps and software solutions like Nulogy to collect data in real time to give companies the actionable insights they need to respond to manufacturing and supply chain changes with speed and agility.
The round was followed by a lively Q&A session, and I have to say I learned a lot. Nulogy is extremely in tune with the needs of its customers, and it’s inspiring to see how the team is working with partners to deliver robust, creative solutions for 3PLs, CPG brands and contract packaging suppliers.
Winners in the Digital Transformation
Another highlight of xChange was the Nulogy North Star Awards gala on Wednesday evening. We had a great time networking with our colleagues, peers and new friends while celebrating the top five companies who:
- Engaged the Nulogy platform to drive out operational waste
- Adapted to dynamic consumer demands
- Provided high-quality customer service
“We are excited to once again share the success stories of our customer community through the North Star Awards,” said Tham. “These outstanding companies understand and exemplify the positive impact of digital transformation on their supply chain operations.”
I had a great time learning and networking throughout the event, but my absolutely favorite part was the Grand Ole Opry concert. Country singer-songwriters Ingrid Andress and Chris Janson put on a great show, but nobody can hold a candle to Nulogy’s CEO. Tham showed off his DJ skills with an ode to keeping the beat in supply chains that honestly should’ve earned him a spot on stage at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.

What’s Next for Fuuz and Nulogy?
xChange was Fuuz’s first event in the Nulogy ecosystem but it definitely won’t be the last as we integrate our technologies to help customers:
- Connect and customize their systems for ease and efficiency
- Build and deploy new solutions for barcoding, serialization and other processes
- Implement pre-built apps such as MES, WMS and TMS that enable continuous improvement
“Nulogy and MFGx share the same goal of making life easier and more productive on the plant floor,” Craig said. “When integrated with Nulogy’s Shop Floor Solution, Fuuz extends the capacity to streamline operations, automate processes and increase visibility into critical information so manufacturers can focus on making smart decisions, resolving challenges and continuously improving operations.”
For me, xChange presented an excellent opportunity to learn more about Nulogy’s solutions, its customers, and their unique challenges as labor shortages and supply chain disruption persist. Fuuz can help alleviate their issues and accelerate digital transformation in so many ways, and I look forward to being part of that solution.
If we met during the show and you’d like to continue the conversation or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me an email. You can also reach Craig Scott here.
